Beginners Holistic Yoga Course - Mondays 10.30-11.30 am

Course dates: Mon 10.30-11.30am. Starting Sept 30th, then each Mon on Oct 7th / 14th / 21st / 28th. £45 for the full course.

A new 5 week course to introduce a holistic approach to Yoga, to aid you in your physical, mental & spiritual well-being. Sessions will include a mix of asana (postures), but also, breath work, meditations, sound healing and other mindfulness practices.

We’ll start with an introductory session; getting to know each other, a bit of background on my yoga journey, and introducing some key elements. The next 4 sessions will then be themed, exploring these key elements in more detail. 1. The Yamas & Niyamas (Yoga principles on & off. mat); 2. The Breath; 3. The Body; & 4. The Mind.

Classes will always be accessible and inclusive, this is not acrobatics or gymnastics, that you may see yoga portrayed as elsewhere. You will of course gain physical benefits, but predominately it will help you find the techniques that work for you, to gain more control over the thinking mind, and live with greater ease and less stress.

You'll also receive bonus pre-recorded content, takeaways & goodies. And discounts to future events.

Session are to be held at the home studio Nr. Lower Peover, and will therefore be limited in group size. I like to give people enough space, but also work with small groups, so that I can provide more thoughtful and attentive guidance. All equipment provided.

A guided Yoga Nidra (Deep Rest) meditation will fully relax you, ready to absorb the healing properties of a full Sound Bath. The vibrations of the Gongs and Crystal & Tibetan Bowls will bring a harmonious experience, both restorative, yet energising. 

We finish with herbal tea refreshment.

Mats & blankets will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own. You may also like to bring a small cushion and/or eye pillow, anything that will assist your comfort.

A gentle Hatha / slow flow class, to stretch and move the body and settle the mind. Working mindfully with postures and our breath, restores calm to the nervous system, by bringing our awareness to the present moment. We end the class with a lovely relaxation.

My classes are accessible to all levels, even complete beginners, in a welcoming, non-competitive space. The emphasis is just on helping you feel a bit better than you did before!

Mindfulness Workshop - Knutsford Wellness Week

Join Clare & Jonathan 5.30 - 6.30pm Tues 23rd Jan @ The Charlton Lodge, The Moor, Knutsford

This special reduced priced workshop is offered as part of Knutsford's Health & Wellness Week, a new initiative by the Town Council.

This afterwork session is open to adults, during which we will guide you through some accessible mindfulness practices to help calm and regulate the nervous system. You can then implement the tools you've learnt into your everyday life, and explore further. These mindful practices can obviously help manage symptoms of over-stimulation, stress & anxiety, but also help you find more inner calm & focus in everyday life, regardless.

As a certified Mindfulness Coach Clare will give a brief summary on how the coaching process works, and will guide you through some breathing techniques, as the breath is the gateway to your nervous system regulation.

Jonathan will then guide a short, accessible meditation practice.

We'll end with a sample of our lovely Sound Bath experience, with Gongs, bowls etc. Sound Bath's are a deeply relaxing experience, but can also be energising and bring a sense of clarity.

There'll be some time at the end for a cup of tea and a chat. We look forward to meeting you there.

Family Yoga - Knutsford Wellness Week

Join Clare 4.00-5.00pm Tues 23rd Jan @ The Charlton Lodge, The Moor, Knutsford

This special reduced priced (£3 per family member) session is offered as part of Knutsford's Health & Wellness Week. A new initiative by the Town Council. It is held at Charlton Lodge, Knutsford Scout Hut, on the Moor. This after school session is open to all, during which we will guide you through some accessible, fun yoga practices. These posture and breathing practices can help to create connection between mind & body, as well as with each other.

Yoga is a great tool for movement, but also bringing calm & focus to both adults and children alike. Shown to improve concentration, self-confidence, self-awareness & emotional regulation. It's a great practice to share as a family.

Winter Wellness Workshop Retreat Day

Mindfulness Retreat Day !

This exclusive small group mini day retreat, held at our purpose built home studio ‘The Shala’, just outside of Knutsford.

We invite you to take some time out from your normal schedule, enjoying being in the present and restore your energies. 

The day will include:

* Gentle Flow Yoga Session - uniting body and mind through the breath. A chance for you to stretch, release and tune in to your inner sensations.

Happy Place Festival at Tatton Park - Sat 3rd & Sun 4th Sept

We had a great time at Fearne Cotton’s ‘Happy Place’ Festival this Sept, at our local NT Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire.

It was a really lovely weekend event, with so many great workshops and people. We had the opportunity to share Yoga, Meditation, and special Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath Sessions with lots of people.

Hopefully we’ll be back next year !
